Absolutely amazing photograph Elroyie.
A seven hour exposure is a testament to your technique and having everything correct before embarking else it could have all gone to waste!
The ruins in the foreground make this shot have a point of reference and comparison to the gorgeous movement in the time lapsed sky.
Out in Israel you must have very clear air and little light pollution, not many places in the UK where we could get a result like this!
I can see why this is your favourite photo of 2006, you are my newest favourite to!

You are really very good at photographing the star trails. The colors and the tones in this one is simply great! Composition is very interesting with the ruins. During what hours did you exposed this one?

absolutely stunning photo. The colours are really beautiful and the star trails are superb. also nice composition with the bricks, the shadow really gives the whole shot depth :)
