[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

Here is another picture of this damselfly that made us a surprise visit in the last week of March this year.

The short note below is borrowed from Wikipedia:

The Common Bluetail (Ischnura senegalensis), also known variously as Ubiquitous Bluetail, African Bluetail, and Senegal Golden Dartlet, is a widespread damselfly of the family Coenagrionidae, native from Africa, through the Middle East, throughout southern and eastern Asia.

It has been accidentally introduced to parts of Europe, including Great Britain and Finland.

Hi Ram

Great shot! It's an interesting POV. Nice composition and sharpness. The blurring of the background enhances the shot.

Hello Ram,
very nice capture with a superb composition; wonderful colours and a lot of nice details. TFS

Hi Ram

Another lovely damselfly shot from you, my friend.
The colors here on this Common bluetail are vivid and very beautiful and really stand out nicely from that dark BG.
The exposure is also very well managed while the diagnal composition is simply charming.
I have one question, though: did you used manual of autofocus here? It seems that the leaf is just a bit sharper than the subject and that's why i'm asking.
Just for the fun of it, i did a quick workshop in which i tried to make the damsel stand out better, but i'm sure the result would be better with the original shot.

Anyway, Bravo and TFS

Hola Ram,
Excelente toma con gran nitidez y detalles, parece camuflarse por su color con la vegetación. Saludos
José Ramón

Hello Ram,
The thumbnail of this shot of the Bluetail damselfly is noticeable owing to the excellent diagonal composition.
A closer look reveals a sharp portrait of the female of the species, contrasting nicely against the dark part of the BG. A very pleasing macro!
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Best greetings Milos.

Hi Ram.
a very nice close-up picture of a beautiful DF.
The colours and contrats are fine but I thing the DF is slightly soft. The DF standout well from the BG.
Well done.
