Female Montagu's Harrier ( Circus pygargus ) Tr : Çayır Delicesi , at Balikdami Wetland , Eskisehir , Turkey . This elegant raptor is one of the 4 Harrier species of our country , breeds in moorlands in Central and East Anatolia in moderate numbers , winters at south of Sahara , Africa . Thanks .

I had miss that lovely posting.Beautiful in flight capture.Sharpnest and colors are outstanding.I just love the sharp details in the plumage and that catch light in the eye.

A 'nearly' shot.Thats the problem with fixed focal lenses when the bird is just that bit too close you chop wing ends off.
Having said that it is beautifully portrayed with very good definition and sharpness with great colours.
