|It's a Potamon potamio, a semi-terrestrial crab occurring around the eastern Mediterranean. This is a female and carrying baby crabs under its body. They are not seen well in this picture. I will soon share two detailed picture for you to see babes in detail and mother's carrying holder. |
My brother caugth him when we were fishing Leuciscus cephalus near the Sumbullu dam in Artova. We were using crickets as bait. Probably, this crap was cought to the hook when he was trying to eat the cricket. You can see the head of green cricket near its mouth.
This is a big crop of the original image. I used "auto-color" tool of the photoshop to naturelize the colors.
