Hello my all friends,
As most of you know, I am still in field trip. During this period of two months, I have visited half of Turkiye. I usuallly have short time for internet and TN. So, I cant write to most of you. Sorry.
Now, I am in Aralık (Iğdır Prov.), located the easternmost point of Turkiye. This town is located in the cross of Turkiye, Azerbaidjan, Iran and Armenia. and it is in upskirt of Ağrı Dağı [Mountain], which is the highest mountain in Turkiye and Europe, with 5137 m altitude. Today we climbed up to Serdarbulak High Plateau, located between Lesser Ağrı and Greater Ağrı Mt. I had a new elevation record for bats and we found some bats on 2200 m a.s.l. There were about 1000 individuals of Miniopterus schreibersii (Kuhl, 1817) - Uzunkanatlı Yarasa [TR], Bent-winged Bat [EN] (CHIROPTERA: MINIOPTERIDAE) and some (15-20 ind.) Myotis blyhtii (Tomes, 1857) - Küçük Farekulaklı Yarasa [TR], Lesser Mouse-eared Bat [EN](VESPERTILIONIDAE).
They were mostly in semi-torpid as like on this post. I posted My. blythii two post ago. Today, I send Mi. schreibersii's shot. I took it from Sony Cyber Shot camera under a torch's light in cave. This species can be identified by short ears, long third fingers of its wings.
I hope you like it. Best wishes to all of you.

Merhaba Ahmet,
An excellent flash photo of three M. schreibersii hanging close together with most of the features sharply and well shown from this POV. A nice dedication to Radomir!
Thanks for sharing this fine image,

Hello Ahmet,
very good photo of this trio of Miniopterus schrebersii.
A great composition and POV.
Sharp and crisp.
Superb use of flash.

Well done,

Hello Ahmet!
Once again I feel very honoured by you :) This is a species not observed by me in the wild so many thanks for this intersting creatures :)
Anyway, it is interesting that there are 3 specimens in 1 place. Not 2 (eg. mother + child), not much more (a bigger part of colony).
Have a very fruitful trip! And take a lot of bat pictures! :)
All the best from Lodz,

Salam Ahmed. Best wishes to you and Ferhat. This one is stunning. Your subject in research captured well in their normal pose :-). Very clear image and well done. Best regards. Jusni

Increíble y encantadora toma Ahmet. Buen control de esa difícil iluminación recreando perfectamente los colores. Buena pose de los tres mamíferos y bien encuadrados.
Un abrazo: Josep Ignasi Tejedor.

Hi Ahmet.
I like your summer program. You have many interesting meetings and your amazing photos proof this thought. Sweet scene and brilliant its reproduction. Great use of lighting, terrific details and sharpness of the animals as well as the rocks. I like direct POV and framing. Well done, interesting subjects. My kind wishes and TFS.

Selam Ahme Kardeşim, Nefis bir yarasa karesi ve dostumuz Radek'e de güzel bir ithaf. Eline sağlık.
Kıbrıs'tan selamlar.

Ps. Trakus'daki yilana baktım. Evet Dolichophis jugularis jugularis. Olay da çok normal. Neden abartıldığını anlamış değilim.

Hello Ahmet,

Nice picture of this triplet of bats. Good composition. Very nice detail, the texture of the skin near the feet is amazing. Good light and colours.

Hello Ahmet,
What a lovely capture of these triplets! Excellent work using the flash. Details are very sharp and the colours look natural. I love the look of their silky coats. They stand out nicely against the wet wall of the cave.
TFS and kind regards, Ulla
