Brenthis daphne (Bergstresser, 1780) is a member the subfamily Heliconiinae of the family Nymphalidae. Böğürtlen Brentisi (TR) or Marbled Fritillary (EN).
It ranges from Southern Europe throughout Anatolia to the Caucasus, Transcaucasus, Irak and Iran.
In Türkiye, it can be observed in all geographic regions, from Kırklareli to Iğdır, from istanbul to Artvin and Kastamonu to Hatay.
Usually it is seen on mullbery (Rubus sp.) as like on this photograph.

Nice butterfly shot. I have never seen this Fritillary. Outstanding focus with nice detail. I like the exposure with the natural back light revealing more clearly the pattern in the beautiful orange wings.
