[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Cricetulus migratorius (Pallas, 1773) is known as Cüce avurtlak or Gri Cüce Hamster [TR], Migratory hamster [EN].
Its total lenght is 80-115 mm, tail is 22-28 mm and weight is 30-35 gr.
Its area is from the Balkans, throughtout Ukraine and Turkiye to Palestine and also Iran Pakistan. This hamster ranges in all regions of Turkiye with two subspecies:
a- Cricetulus migratorius cinarescens (Wagner, 1848)
b- Cricetulus migratorius vernula Thomas, 1917

The species was listed as Near Threatened (NT) by IUCN (www.redlist.org).
I took it clearing itself after eating some food.

This is hamster really seems to be surprised!
I like your POV and the pose of the animal catched, the fill flash made a very homogenous illumination.
It's very good the composition made with the bark, their textures and the shadows produced.

Hi Ahmet, this is a beautiful pose by this little Hamster. With it you have picked up amazing detail of the hamster and the tree. The lighting and textures are great, right down to the whiskers and his fur, and I love those catch lights in his eyes. Very nicely done.

This little wild hamster is just too cute. By chance I was looking for this animal yesterday on the net, because I had seen some very similar species in the alpine area and I was wondering what it was. The shot is excellent, very vivid, the framing is good too.
