A very nice in-flight capture.

Its what we call a A Marmalade hoverfly (Episyrphus balteatus).

Hey, Sebnem, I have no words to describe how I did enjoy this.

Let me try: excellent pov and composition. Colors and lighting are simply perfect, and so is sharpness. The bg is very nice.

In sum: to me, it's perfect.

Just a curiosity: you used ISO 400. If I use this ISO in my camera, a lot of noise is produced. Does this happen with yours?

Very sharp the colours are excellent and at 400 ISO no noise. How can you have pictures without noise at 400 ISO with your D70 ?

Excellent capture Sebnem.

I am surprised of the sharpness (freezing of movement) using only 1/800 second but it often is a matter of shooting in the right split second. The colours are spot on and the composition is very good.

Perfect on every aspect, Sebnem. Right speed, to just freeze the wings a bit, right aperture to get the desired amount of DOF, plus superb colors and perfect exposure. I know how difficult it is to get these right. Very well done!
