Good technically(exposure, focus, dof, composition) and the colour of the whole image just seems to gel making this a pleasing picture to look at.

Very good capture of Water Rail, which is supposed to be very timid. Good POV and composition, sharp details, beautiful colours and nice catch-light on eye.
