A robber fly in a cool day! About the lens, no surprise about that, i have used +3 macro tube with the lens.

i'm not sure about the exact id but it can be philonicus albiceps.

Great macro with super end result. Details are well seen against the neutral green background especially the fine body hairs and spikes on the paws. I also like the centralized composition. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Great macro!!! The Canon 350D did a great job with the tube! Nice green bg enhancing the fly and excellent POV and mastering of the exposition. What means f/inf?
