[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The photo was taken just after I cought the fish. You can understand this from its eyes and the position. These fishes was living in a small river once. After a barrage had been constructed on the river, they started both in the lake of barrage and in the river. I cought it from the lake as you can see in the picture.

Not: First I thought that this is a alburnous but "meyerd" (one of tracknature member) warned me. It is a "Leuciscus cephalus" with a great probability....

Güzel bir balıkmış ve oltanın ucunda iyi bir fotoğraf olmuş.

Too cruel. No good light, no good composition.

Merhaba Ahmet,
I like this fish portrait although the fish is not in his natural environment. You caught the last (or first?) sun rays on its fins which makes for interesting lighting of the animal. Well done, Ahmet. Could it be a species other than Alburnus? In my country Alburnus has pale scales, not the black rimmed scales like in your picture. Here Leuciscus cephalus resembles your fish somewhat. But I don't know about fish in Turkey at all.
With my best regards
Dietrich
