Anemone narcissiflora - Nergis çiçekli Dağlalesi [TR], Narcissus-flowered Anemone [EN] is a perennial herb, with beautiful flowers, from the family RANUNCULACEAE (RANUNCULALES). It is one of five species of the genus Anemone in Turkiye. It grows 7-60 cm tall. It is found in high mountain alpine grasslands, in thickets, grassy meadows with moist soils, tundra, open woods, along roadsides and in pastures. It mostly prefers volcanic slopes. It flowers in June and July.
The plant ranges widely in Holoarctic Region (North America and Eurasia). It is found in It has been recorded in Ağrı, Artvin, Giresun, Gümüşhane, Sivas, and Trabzon provinces (namely A7, A8, A9, B6, B10 squares) in Turkiye with its two subspecies:
*** Anemone narcissiflora narcissiflora lives in 1800 to 2250m a.s.l. in Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, the Urals, and also Northeastern Turkiye.

*** Anemone narcissiflora wildenowii lives in 2400 to 3100m a.s.l. in Northeastern and Eastern Turkiye.

I dont know this one on the shot which subspecies. I captured it above more than 2200m a.s.l. Another shot of the same flowers can be seen on Workshop.

indeed a beautiful capture. Artistically composed emerging from a corner into the centre. Very well defined sharpness and details of these attractive flowers.
the contrast with the background is well seen in an effective view.

My the highest mountain was 700 m :).
Both shots are excellent and give a nice idea of a species. You have applied an exact DOF. All details of the flowers, stem and leaves are sharp nicely. Exposure of the shot is also precise. Well done and best wishes.
