Turkish Name: Nazuğum Kelebeği

Distribution in Turkey: North of the North Anatolian Turkey (Central Anatolia Region, north of the Black Sea, the Marmara region and northern part of Eastern Anatolia Region

Distribution in the world: Scandinavian countries, including the area from the Mediterranean coastal countries live in a large area.

Living Area: Sea level, up to heights of 2200 meters in humid savannas, are warm and floral areas.

Flight time: Fly during May to July.

Food Plants of the caterpillar: Caterpillars isetensis Scabiosa, Succisa pratensis species feeding on plants develop.

Description-Notes: Medium-sized butterfly. Among his most interesting İperhan orange, yellow and brown species that have checkered patterns. English as the name suggests, marsh or wetland meadow pastures began in the area of life cycle continues until dry. This feature is reflected in the colors. The colors are vivid at first start to fade over time. Some years, the number of colonies is too much, and some years of declining numbers. This is caused by eating larvae, wasps presence of a kind.

Wingspan: 30 -46 mm mm long.
