I don't know the species of this beetle. My wife noticed it when we were on a picnic last weekend. It was feeding on a small immature apple.
It had a metallic look and was shining amazingly. And I don't know why there were some white stain on its body. I definitely think that it's a fantastic creature with its beauty and creepy look. Another detail about its view is that its feet close the head looked very short compared to remaining feet.
Moreover, there were some red fluid on immature apple. I thought it's because of two reason: the spit of the beetle just caused it or the beetle purposely uses its spit to easily bite and digest the hard immature apple. |
