The Ihlara Valley is a 16 km long gorge cut into volcanic rock in the southern part of Cappadocia, following several eruptions of Mount Erciyas.

There is a few issues with this capture which I am not happy with but I still feel its worth sharing with TN. Also I am not 100% certain if I have the correct location.

What a beautiful landscape, Stephen!
I also somehow don't like shooting flowing water at slow shutter speed; it looks so artificial to me.
The diffused light of a cloudy day endows this image with a great depth of view and softness of colours.
Thanks for sharing.

Lovely shot Stephen. The relatively long shutterspeed created a nice effect. Sharp focus and nice exposure. Well done & TFS!

Regards,
Pieter

Ps-Did you know diffraction occurs at f22?

Hello Stephen,
Lovely little waterfall..!
Very pleasing and well balanced composition with good lines... Great colours and details, however the sky is probably the weakest part...
Excellent feeling of depth!

Hi Stephen,

I really like your composition however the burnout in the clouds distracts the viewer. I suppose one could make a completely different image out of this by cropping out the sky and leaving the nice waterfall and pink flowers. It would make a nice, more evenly exposed image..but of course less dramatic.

Hi Stephen,
A beautiful scene and a great shot. The colours are quite striking in that they look so natural, the exposure is spot-on, I don't really have a preference for shutter speeds with running water, I think slow or fast work equally well depending on the situation and this is perfect, again very natural. The composition is great with the thirds obvious but that tree in the centre. Sorry, didn't mean to write an essay here :-) Great shot!
Cheers,
Adrian

Another spectacular image from you Stephen,
Good detail, colours and sharpness. Exposure is a bit hot on the clouds, but I'm sure that's one of the issues you have mentioned. Good POV, notes and framing.
This image is well worth sharing on TN.

Thanks for posting, Have a great week.

Hi Stephen, I agree with your note in that it's not your best but I'm pleased you posted it. Good composition and great view. The only bad thing really is the sky being OE. It's a nice shot though, well done.

beautiful landscape...
nice effect with l/25 sc.
thanx

Nice waterfall Stephen!
All the colors are great together.

Hi Stephen

A very pretty scene. Has a tranquil atmosphere and looks cool due to all that lovely water. Nice one! :-)

Hello Stephen wonterful photo very nice landscape colours sharpenss and DOF are excellent good work my friend Stephen Bravo regards Stavros

Hi Stephen,
I wanted to write about the over exposed sky and mention about cropping out the sky, but then I saw the critique from Evelynn and now I can only write that I totally agree with her.
Regards,
Niek

Just catching up with my critiques, sorry for the delay :)

A very pleasing photo, good colours and composition, although the clouds are a little over-exposed. Shutter time about right to give a sense of movement without too much blurring.
