Again a shot from Camlica region of Istanbul and again I don't know the name of this species. As you know I went to Camlica for taking bird photos but as you see I took lots of butterfly photos instead.:)I'm going on from this series.Hope you like it.

P.S. Please pay attention how I force my 90-300 lens to take macros.;)

Beautifull Large Wall (Lasiommata maera)

Merb Can A nice shot and good sharp detail and colours. I like the stone background provides a good contrast. Camlica is a nice place also. Slm Necip.

Hello Can,
a well composed picture with excellent colours showing
-- Lasiommata maera
-- family: Nymphalidae
-- subfamily: Satyrinae
Sharpness is also good but the picture appears noisy (I tried a workshop but I'm anot really satisfied with the result. What do you think?).
Best wishes, Peter

Hello Can,
Fine shot of a Large Wall Brown. This shot is sharp and well-composed but a bit noisy.
Perhaps you had to crop it a lot, but its nice to see anyway and to compare with the swedish Large Wall Brown which is a little greyer in tone.
TFS,regards, Ivan

Hi Can.
Very nice capture.Good sharp,good POV,pretty colours.I like composition and contrast opposite stone-background.
Greetings Milos.

Long lenses can take good macros; I have even used the 80-400mm Nikkor VR to do it. But the available light has to be be good, as seen here. The rock is a good background for this insect and gives texture to the whole picture.

Hi Can

A lovely shot of this butterfly. Lovely wing pattern and colour. Nicely composed. Great result. TFS.

Hi Can,
Great and sharp photo, the point of view is ok, this picture deserves more points but many people in TN give more points for colourful pictures.

Very good composed picture. I like also nice rock in the background. Good, natural colours and sharpness. Thanks
