Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo) tr:Şahin

I will try to explain this action with my insufficient grammar :)
All the daytime predators like eagles, hawks, falcons, etc. eat the prey with big bites. Because there are lots of possible meal partners. To digest these big meat pieces they all have very strong stomach acids. This acid is also very dangerous for themselves. To protect their own skins they throw/repulse the faeces.
They also cover their nests with this acid so they protect their eggs and chicks from small enemies like bugs and ants.
I saw this action 2 or 3 times before. This one is the longest with near 2 meters :))

Always keep this smile and have a nice year.

Holy s____ !

I have seen and felt the afterburner effect of avian digestion. Seagulls are the "artists" in this department also... Hence their nickname in these parts of "craphawk".

Amazing, provocative and educational shot! I use that word "loosely" here. Your timing was impeccable.

Hi Fatih

What a magnificent moment you managed to capture here!
The timing is beyond all impressive, and impeccable :))
Also the POV for "such a catch" is great and the details are very clear and sharp.
I like this picture - it's the kind that puts a smile on everyone's face :)

Very interesting action. The photo demonstrates very good what stands in your note.
Furthermore the pic is very detailed and against a lovely colored unfocused sky. Lovely.
