Your sense of timing is the crux of your distinguished style of photography, Sebnem.
You have captured this guy just as it emerges from the dip with the lower half of its body still immersed.
The ripples it has created on the water surface are also a key factor to the overall appeal of this interesting shot.

Wonderful capture, Sebnem. It's a pose I've not seen. Exposure, sharpness and saturation are all good. I find that the frame is a little distracting as there is more contrast in it, than in the photo so my eye goes to it.

Overall, the composition and young mallard up in the water with this POV is great, and a unique capture..It shows great character, and immediately grabs the interest of the viewer..

A cute little ducky doing the "chicken run" thing. The darkish water mass brilliantly compliments the little mallard and its reflection. The green vegetation (reeds) provides an interesting and colourful break in the overwhelming (if not somewhat monotonous or repetitive) surface colour of the water.

A lovely composition that oozes with impact and the cuteness factor. The details are sharp and the colours are great, while the exposure was well managed.

What a sweet heart! I love ducks, I have had pet ducks, to keep my yard slug free. They love humans, and would lay outside my glass back door. They would steal my dogs dry food! They are quite messy however, and I had to scrub the cement all the time. They have difinate personalities. YOur picture is so cute!
