[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I thought showing the movement of Spiny-tailed lizard might be interesting.
First, he was lying flat on the sand enjoying the March sun.
He was well blended into the gravel plain which is a typical habitat for this kind of lizard.
Then he spotted me approaching him.
As I got closer and closer, he decided "OK, that's too close. I don't like it."
So he threatened me with his best 'fearsome' pose.
Though it didn't work with this intruder (which is , of course, me), and obviously he had enough of it, he suddenly started runnning and disappeared into sand dunes.

If you are interested in this lizard, please see my another photo of him. There is more detailed info about Spiniy-tailed lizard.

Don't like the text, I think its to big for this image.
This is an interesting blend of shots. Very well done, a unique presentation of this most interesting lizard.

I like very much the creative presentation you made with the 3 shots. It works very well and is very descriptive. Also has a funny point. Good work.

What a superb way of capturing the antics of the lizard! Very creative and captured in an almost comical way which draws one's attention to the photo.

Great shot Yukiko, very, very nice. I like POV, DOF and colours.
