[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi my friends!

This isn't ordinary seagull, this is Turkish seagull ;-) Sebnem and Cem took us to ship trip to Prince Islands placed in Marmara Sea. It was another unforgettable, wonderful day in Istanbul with our TN friends! After visiting Heybeliada, which is one of most beautifull places I ever saw, we sailed back to European part of city. We're slightly tired after all day of miracles. I rememberd very well Sebnem's and Cem's pictures of gulls in flight and tried to make something similiar. Maybe it isn't as good as pictures made by my friends, but this is my first picture of seagull in flight ;-)

Very good in-flight, Greg.
I don't know how the S2 works but I know it's almost impossible to shot a bird in the air withe the S1, I have tried a several time without any success, so I think you did manage more the well. It's a bit dark but well composed, good details and nice POV.
I sounds that you had a great time with Sebnem and Cem.
Great work.

Hi Greg!
I don't have enough time to write a decent comment ;) but the big smiley is, no doubt, well deserved here :)

//Superb shot with good quality. A bit dark, but overall looks great//

Hey Greg, this looks like one of Murrays Bay's juvenile Black-backed gulls. Yes, I think it is. I recognise his spots.
For a first in-flight you've done well. They aren't easy, I know. So bravo!
Of course you wouldn't get any gulls in Lodz would you? Thanks Sebnem for introducing Greg and Joanna to our birds. TFS...

Some noise and overall darkness are not so importamnt here, I know how difficult it is to capture an animal in flight. I like the pose of the gull with head turned towards the photographer. Congratulations! Michal

Hi Greg

Excellent in-flight shot. I like the head trun. He obviously knew you were there. For me personally, it is a little dark. Have uploaded a workshop. Good work. Thanks. :-)

Grzegorz, this is very nice. Excellent composition; you managed to capture a difficult moment. Great title too.

I also like Pam's workshop.

Very good in-flight capture Greg, very nice composition and freeze of frame with good details. Inclusion of horizon is nice bonus. 7/10 Very well done.

Hello again Greg!
Yes big effort with compact camera.Sharpness,POV,pose of gull, framing and composition are perfect. Thanks for sharing.
