[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Harris's Hawk (Parabuteo unicinctus) is normally found is the Southern United States and South America. This particular bird is being used for wildlife control work in Eastern Canada. The fact that the bird was moderately use to humans and obliging allowed me to get in rather close. Though as you see she was not overly friendly.

Hi Chris,

great picture. The Sharpness and details are marvellous. You could see directly last food session of the hawk! Maybe you could reduce noise next time a little bit - especially in the green area!

Very impressive close-up shot of this ferocious bird, Chris. The aggression is palpable in its eyes and open mouth.
The focus on the eyes in particular is amazingly sharp.
Well done and TFS.

oh boy is he ever telling you something nice head shot

Awesome close-up shot! Nice sharpness, details and colours!

Hi Chris,
frontal approach of dramatic intensity, creating quite a quintessential image of a predator birds pose of warning or agression.
Very good depth of field has worked well here in a situation where it is hard to decide where to place the focus.
Colours are powerfully intense in perfect saturation.
Thank you! Best regards,

Hello Chris
This is good looking bird :)
