[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Looking down over a bank to secluded cove along the western shore on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. My first thought was that this would be an excellent location for the narrator of a film documentary poroviding the subject matter complimented it. The texture of the rock and color of the water caught my eye specifically.

My first impression is GEOLOGY.
The uplifted sedimentary rock (WHAT caused the uplifting force to act on Cape Breton Island?) and the red colours (are there iron or manganese compounds in the rocks?).
Photographically, the strong diagonal lines of rock counter the curving shoreline to give visual interest here.
