Hi Patrick.
A really beautiful seascape with great composition. The colours are great and the mauve filter does work o.k, but maybe you could have toned down the saturation just a little. I only mention that from the colours on the cliffs. They look a little strong. But the colour quality is good and over all it's very lovely. Well done.

Hi Patrick,
Great to see you posting again. This is a great looking seascape, where the slow shutter speed made the surf action look nice and silky. I have to be honest, the color result from the mauve grad filter is not my cup of tea. If feel that the photo has lost its connection to nature. I am glad to see that the bottom right corner does have the orignal color displayed. The rocks in the FG are wonderful and the photo does have good details.

Interesting presentation, the colors are surreal...So I agree with Niek's comments here.
Most likely would do better on TL as you say.

Hi Patrick,
well i guess all the comments about how this should be on TL have been made, so i will just stick to critiqing it as a shot in it's own right.
Composition wise it's very nice, with good sharp FG detail and a nice effect from the shutter speed. The cliff edge leads the eye nicely in the BG too. Maybe it is one for TL, but it's still a great shot.

Wow, c'est vraiment impressionnant. Je suis de plus en plus tentée d'expérimenter les filtres car je vois des résultats spectaculaires comme celui-ci. Les couleurs, la composition et la texture de cette photo sont superbes. Vraiment bien fait et réussit, bravo!

What a breathtaking seascape you share with us with this photograph. A peaceful and tranquil scene with awesome colours. I like the different sizes of the rocks and the small puddles of water in between. Thanks for sharing, it was most relaxing to look at.

Hi Patrick

What a splendid landscape and tranquil mood here!
I really love the way the warm tones o the rocks look near the colder ones of the water and sky.
The long shutter speed effect over the waves adds a lot to the atmosphere of the shot, making them so uniform and calm.
Excellent use of the grad filter and therefore spot-on exposure management.
Wonderful work overall!
