Hi Patrick,
You were really lucky to get this close. I had to use a 400mm lens to get my shot and that was of a rabbit living on a campsite.
You got great details and wonderful natural colors captured. I like how it was sitting on the rock waiting for the pose. You do have a odd stripe visable just above the ears.

Je soupçonne que ce petit est bien nourrit par les campeurs... Chose qui est tellement difficile à ne pas faire mais qui ne leur rend pas service. C'est une belle capture bien détaillée, composée avec de belles couleurs naturelles et un beau reflet dans son œil. Quand nous capions cet été, c'est un petit lièvre qui venait nous voir mais il passait toujours comme un éclair, pas le temps de réagir, juste sourire en le voyant :)

not a shy fellow indeed, it is almost a macro with this BG! It is ever a good sign when the animals fear not the human presence. A great pose, with this inquisitive glance (for food...?) and this fur so sharp.

Perfect pose.
This is a wonderful capture of this rabbit.You have wonderful focus and sharpness.
The fur colours are natural and the texture shows well.
I think the expression is well captured and you have managed excellent catch light in the eye.
