Hi Jay,
Beautiful capture of this opening flowers!
It's so curious the way it folds and turns in its way to expand and become a nice flower.
Very appropiate your POV and the composition made.
So interesting the info about the Operation Overlord.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM
Hey Jay, long time no see (you or a Maple). Great shot of the opening maple. Very good composition with great colour, detail and depth of field. Excellent dedication!
Now on a completely different note, what happened to the Sens? And now to sound like a Maple Leaf - there's always next year.
Thanks, John

Hi Jay.
What a nice subject and excellent presentation of this beautiful plant. I like combination of plant colours and colour palette of the BG. Low POV and excellently selected DOF impress. Cropping and composition of the picture are perfect too. My best regards and TFS.
Alexei.

Sobering, introspective, this dedication on the June 6 onset of the invasion at Normandy.
The photo promises hope for the future in the guise of the unfurling leaves of the maple.
Great color, wonderful POV as well as the
macro clarity on this one.
Thanks for sharing.
Hi Jay,
you know that you have a very good outlook on things and I must say thanks for dedication to our military personnel who laid it on
the line so long ago now.My Grandfather who is now 87 years old would surely be proud of your important note as am I.He served in the navy for Canada from 1936 till 1945 and became a fire fighter from 1945 till 1980 when he retired. His life was about the hard and difficult things in life and He never shied away even once,so I am proud of his accomplishments.I will salute your photo of this young maple tree leaves as they our country's symbol and what so many defended to keep free.Well done Jay and thank you. Bob
