Crossing the Road
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A youngster relunctantly crosses the road to meet up with mom, waiting patiently on the other side.
Taken at about 5 EST, very, very cold.
*Will post shooting data later as it was stripped from the image* |

Hello Lissa,
What a great chance opportunity to capture this wonderful deer.
I very much like the pose, details, POV and BG.
Nicely seen and taken, thank you for sharing it with us.

Hi Lissa,
Nice shot, well seen and captured, nice composition too. It looks a little dark, probably because there is so much snow about, so I posted a workshop with the Deer lightened slightly, hope you like it.
Regards,
Adrian
Bonjour Lissa
C,est une très belle prise de vue les couleurs les contrastes le back ground tout y est sauf que la photo est sombre et que les couleurs ne ressortes pas très bien. Je me permets de fabriquer un workshop.
merci et au revoir...JP

Hello Lissa, anybody home?
I noticed your 'selection' (thank you for that) and then things went quiet so I thought I'd just drop a visit to say 'hi' and find out if all is ok there in Ontario.
You were in the luck with this chance encounter and you did well under what I would suppose was a rather hasty shoot.
The composition is fine and you gave the deer ample space to cross the road. The colours are natural and the DOF is fine. The exposure is slightly on the dark side, probably brought on by the backlight coming from the snow, but that is no major nit. I think the 2 workshops addressed that more than adequately.
Very well done and TFS.
Regards
