[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken after the heron took the catfish back to shore. The heron continually "speared" the fish to ensure it was dead.

After it was satisfied that the fish was indeed dead, the heron came back to the river and then cleaned its beak off (picture of that to follow tomorrow).
