Hi Michel,

I think these Barn Swallows are so cute but I have seen them only twice - once in town in a nest outside of a supermarket and once in Europe. I think it's the facial expression that makes it so attractive. A wonderful shot in a terrific pose on the bare branch. The face, eye and feathers are excellent. I love the background and composition. Hope you had a great holiday!!!

I have many swallows and we do have these barn swallows but I have not seen them...quite different than other swallows in colour but not in size.

Your image has this masters painting quality to it...a softness around the subject which is pleasing to the eye...and your colours are very much earth tone...that's a definite plus when it comes to nature:-)
