|Red-breasted Merganser (Mergus serrator)|
The only time I ever saw this species walking on the shore.
Done on the West beach - Point Pelee National Park.
A large diving duck with a long thin bill, the Red-breasted Merganser is found in large lakes, rivers and the ocean. It prefers salt water more than the other two species of merganser.

superb and funny in the same time!
The pose of this Red-breasted Merganser, the POV
on it, the great DOF, add dynamism to the image, TFS
Excellent image of this duck with its great pose! Almost looks like it is running away from the waves. Great timing! Very well done and tfs.
I have to admit that seeing him on land is unusual. Especially dancing the Cha Cha. LOL The DOF seems off a bit. Not sure why. It's a great culmination of colours. Great framing and a perfect shot in whole. TFS Trevor
