Here you see the A.R. Squirrel eating a pine cone. They really love them and eat them often. He is stripping it from one end to the other then he turns it around to do the same from the other end. At times he puts the whole length in his mouth. Possibly to strip off the inner seeds.

Hello Trevor,
An attractive shot of the American Red Squirrel. The nice glint in it's eye gives the appearance of being full of life! I can almost hear the constant chewing as it feeds on the seed pod. The tail curved up over the back is always a nice bonus with these fast paced critters. Wonderful shot!!
We have one that's been giving my wife fits, because it has been chewing at the fabric seat cushions on our outside deck:(

Hi Trevor, what a nice pose,it seems a violin player..ehehe.great capture made with the usual top quality of detail and colors despite the difficult location.Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano.

Hello Trevor,
These are the most beautiful creatures of the wild.
This image is 10/10
CONGRATULATIONS.
Best and most kind regards,
Mario.
P.S. I have posted this species very often; in fact, one lives in my backyard. It is most tame and eats out of my hand.

Hi Trevor,

The squirrwl is well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details of the Red Squirrel. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
