Bonjour Pierre, belle vue de cette superbe région, la composition est excellente. Merci !

Mario

Hello Pierre,
Empty reservoirs and dry rivers are not exactly attractive elements in nature!
I have a few around where I live too, they look the worst before they are filled after the power use during winter...
This is a good documentary image!
Greetings,
Pablo -

A beautiful capture of the nature here. Great composition. Well done.
Best wishes,
Achim

J'aime vraiment beaucoup cette photo du grand nord, cette sensation de grandeur, presque de vide, si bien capturée. Les arbres sont tous petits, la montagne est sombre et le lac frissonne... vraiment beau. Merci,

Francine

Salut Pierre
C est une belle prise de vue que tu as pris de cette belle region ,j y ai ete a la peche il y a deux ans.
Bravo et au revoir...JP

Hi Pierre, the composition is good on this one, and there is excellent detail. To see it properly though I had to put it into photoshop and I basically doubled the light with a screen layer. I can't demonstrate this for you as I've run out of workshops for the day. You can do this yourself in Photoshop though. Copy this to photoshop. Copy the layer. Go to your layers menu and you will see Layer 1 and Layer 1 copy. Above that you will see a drop down box that says Normal. This is the blend mode. Change this to Screen and you will essentially double your light intensity. If you want to alter this then you can change the opacity of this layer.

Edit Note: Since doing this critique I have discovered that my monitor may be out of calibration (too dark). This is something that we all should check once in a while. There are some Calibration Check bars at the bottom of the screen. In my case (with my "old faithful" monitor) I can't differentiate between 0-2. It's time for a new monitor. My apologies to Pierre on my first review. I thought it was alright to begin with, now I think its even better.

Thanks, John

Hello Pierre

This is a beautiful view of the rugged outdoors of Quebec.
Well focused showing very good textures and details.
The POV was well done.
A very good display of rocky terrain and treed land.
