hello friends, i am out of new in-flight photos and
i want to post in-flight photos, i went to see in my
archives what i can post, and there is this photo that
i love the atmosphere (j'aime l'ambiance de cette photo),
the only way for me to post it, it was to give digital noise
reduction with a moderately blur, this photo was shot
at the sunset with very low light, i am happy the job
that has done my Nikon Coolpix P60 compact camera

friends until i will do new in-flight photos, this one will
be my last post, but i will come to critique your photos

from the All About Birds website

« The male Snow Bunting returns to its high Arctic
breeding grounds in early April, when temperatures
can still dip as low as -30° C (-22° F) and snow still
covers most of the ground. The female does not return
until four to six weeks later.

Early arriving Snow Bunting males set up and defend
territories that include good nesting sites. They will
still come together in flocks to forage, and usually
roost in loose groups of from 30 to 80 birds. »

Merci

Asbed

I like the birds on full fly!

Y eso que nos quejamos de la nieve aquí y han caído menos de 10 cm. y raramente bajamos de -5ºC...
Interesante trabajo.

Hello Asbed,
A photo with an interesting environment, and a wide variety of items. Particularly I like most his light, very sober and with a cadence that almost screams deep!. Of course, the three birds in flight generates a dynamic medium point and increase the complexity of the picture. It is a very interesting result, you have good things in their files of 2008!

Hi Asbed,

Just wonderful how you got the three Snow Buntings in one frame! The birds are sharp and clear - looks like you had spotlights on them in the low light. I love the setting.

Jane

Hello Asbed,

anther inflight shot that looks like an landscape.
good pov.

Gert

Hello Asbed,
Hope you'll be doing fine in the frigid winter landscape of the coldest country Canada. This is a fine photo of these lovely buntings in flight over a frigid sea of ice, very romantic and at the same time very frightening for a fellow like me who is so used to soaring temperatures and mild winters that this landscape appears like a nightmare but being a student of literature it is Romantic as well as all things remote in space and time are........aha, what a long sentence! Really loved this shot and in the low light it appears very beautiful....a rush towards home before the nightfall....thanks a lot for sharing. I got hold of this photo of yours on page 6 or 7 I think ....take care...warmest regards/Abid

Hi Asbed,
The mood is very special here.
Warm light and placid flight of the birds adds that special feeling to the image.
Well done and thanks for share it.

Hi Asbed,
you surely have plenty of birds in the location. The lakes and the surrounding is so rich.
The view ia splendid and you captured the birds in such a clear image.
Well lighted and excellent compoaition of colours and colours rendition.

Hallo Asbed
I like this photograph very much as it has a very imaginative mood to it, and has a feeling of peacefulness that surrounds it, as per you own words " I love the atmosphere (j'aime l'ambiance de cette photo). I also like the soft but also strong colour tones of the different subjects in the scenery. The layers of sky, mountains, trees and then lastly a layer of snow is a great backdrop to the three Snow Bunting's flying in different directions and positions in the sky. Lastly, the sunlight shining on certain places in the image makes this image a wonderful landscape to look at and appreciate. Merci.
Anna

Bonjour Asbed,

Pierre
