[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Shot of an arctic wolf at the Parc Omega located close to Montebello, Quebec about an hour east of Ottawa. Here you can see many Canadian and European species in their natural habitants. The park is a ten-kilometre nature roadway and on the route are lakes, meadows, small valleys, forests, and rocky hills. It is home to much wildlife such as moose, bears, raccoons, wolves, etc. The site also has a restaurant with a panoramic view. The park is open daily, year round.
Parc Omega's admission is about US$14 per adult. The park runs 2 low-power FM radios stations that provide guidance and direction, in English and French. Bags of carrots can be purchased at the visitors center at the start of the tour or you can bring your own. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to tour the parc. |
