[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
Present throughout all Canadian provinces and the only species that winters in North America, the Tree Swallow is the first swallow to return in the spring! Finding shelter near watercourses, in urban as well as rural areas, the Tree Swallow feeds essentially on insects captured in flight or on the ground, but does not disdain small seasonal fruits and seeds. Its length can reach 13 to 16 cm.

Beautiful swallow, Donald.
What fantastic iridescent colors.
Sharp details and wonderful composition with the pretty BG.
TFS. : )

Bonjour Donald
Belle presentation ,les couleurs et la nettetée sont très bonnes, belle composition
J'apprecie la pose de l'oiseau sur cette souche.
Au revoir et merci....JP

This bird looks like a statue on it's support! Very nice and clearly shown against the blurred BG! The frame compliments the shot but again, I find it too sophisticated.
