|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]|
|Present throughout all Canadian provinces and the only species that winters in North America, the Tree Swallow is the first swallow to return in the spring! Finding shelter near watercourses, in urban as well as rural areas, the Tree Swallow feeds essentially on insects captured in flight or on the ground, but does not disdain small seasonal fruits and seeds. Its length can reach 13 to 16 cm.|
