This looks like a Robin.
You did quite well despite your handicap of a very strong sunlight.
I guess you used Photoshop CS4 to fix the lighting???

The head of this bird is like the head of
the American Robin, even the wing plumage
its like American Robin's, so for me this
bird it is the American Robin.
You was a difficult light with the catch-light,
but being lateral it is doing a beautiful
shadow and light effect on the bird and the tree, TFS
