Hi Anna
Grey heron I think
Excellent shot! These birds are not easy to catch! I think you could try to sharpen it a bit more. TFS

Hello Anna,
Grey Herons are usually found in Europe, Asia and Africa, although there have been a few reported in North America. Great Blue Herons on the other hand are very common in North America. This particular bird appears to me to be a juvenile Great Blue Heron.

Hello Anna,
Thanks for visiting my picture.Beautiful species this grey Heron.Well captured.Natural colour.I like its natural habitat too.
Thanks for sharing,
Regards and have a nice time,

Hello Anna

As Ron (Tuslaw) has written the Great Blue Herons
are the one in North America, in the moment of
shooting the photo if you could take a little
bit more your time to focus it the bird would
go sharper and the photo better, TFS

GREAT SHOT.........

Bonsoir Anna,
Attitude originale et terrifiante du sujet saisie à l'instant décisif.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

I am impressed by the magnificent sharpness and details of this image. The composition is wonderful. Very nice colors and outstanding clarity. It is a superb bird. Lovely details.

This is a baby = juvenile Great Blue Heron.
Very sharp and well presented image.
An unusual "yawn".
Lovely, indeed.

Hello Anna,
Amazing expression of this juvenile heron..somehow very touching shot. Very well composed picture.
Take care

Hi Anna,
Nicely composed photo, but lacks sharpness in my opinion. Probably you lost it during the re-sizing procedure, as the TN-sized images often need to be selectively re-sharpened after all other PP work's done. I'm not sure which software you use, but the free demo of Neat Image is very good for re-sharpening 800x600 sized images and removing the noise at the same time. Many of us use it (including me), either as a module of PhotoShop / PhotoImpact or a standalone program. It solves issues like this. www.neatimage.com
Kind regards from Ireland, László
