I am a sucker for this species although I have never seen one in real life.
Great colors and details. Nice contrast.
I love the shot!

Hello Benoit,
Snow owls are very attractive to watch, and your excellent photo reminds us why. Composition and exposure are both masterful. I wish you wrote more about the location and habitat though.
Best wishes,

Hello Beniot , Fantastic shot from this owl , good compositie colours en beauty eyes and sharpnes the bg is very nice , Greetings Teunie .

We don't get many photos of this bird on the ground! Really nice detail in the owls feathers and those eyes are stunning. I wonder what he's looking at?
Good colours and focus point. BG gives us just enough to see enough of the other bird. I like the wood crossing the top of frame.

Very good use of your limited DOF Benoit.
Great exposure, color, and the eyes are amazing :)
Well done!

Hello Banoit and a very late Welcome to TN :) (but i guess better late than never)

This is a splendid capture!
I really like the POV here and you are right...the look and the eyes of the owl are fantastic!
The colros here are gorgeous and well saturated, the exposure is very well managed and the the sharpness of the details in impeccable.
Nice to see a second one in the BG, too.
Very well vertically composed and presented (although a longer note would be nice, at least to know where the shot was taken and in which conditions).

Anyway, Bravo and TFS
