|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I took this shot with my camera through the lens of my binoculars while tracking this ovenbird in the NWT. The binoculars gave it a pretty cool effect, and the light reflecting off the breast feathers is pretty cool too.|

Welcome to TrekNature.
Thank you for this first photograph, which represents an interesting topic: a bird perched in the branches of a tree, against days. You have not taken the easy way!:-).
The composition is beautiful to see. Perhaps it would have been better to get closer to the bird, if possible. The colors are beautiful and realistic contrast, the effect against the light was pleasantly captured. The overall sharpness of the shot is not perfect and you should try to improve it.
In your presentation, you indicate that your photographic equipment is not very sophisticated: it is not necessarily a handicap, we have all started there, and even with a little material developed, it is perfectly possible to make beautiful shots.
Finally, a new time, Welcomme.
Hope to see you another time on TrekNature.
All the best.
Welcome to TN, I am sure you will enjoy it a lot and it sure is a great place to learn, Cool shot of the Ovenbird marking its territory!
