|The purple saxifrage is the first flower to grow in the short arctic summer. It is starting to pop-out in early may between snow banks. This nice flower is also the floral emblema of the Nunavut in northern Canada.|
Taken on the macro position and been croped with contrast and saturation increasing.

This is a great shot with a fine comp. showing clearly and with good detail the Purple Saxifrage set against a fine BG indicating the habitat and yet blurred enough to emphasise the main subject.
