Very beautiful scene. Nice colors and it gives a feel of calmness. I think a circular polorizer would have helped with the glare here, but still a great photo.

Hi Tim. a lovely picture, with good colours, very clear water the white flowers set it of ,well done..
I think it is Alaska Cotton Grass (Eriophorum) although I think I have heard it called Yukon Cotton too. I've seen something very similar growing in the Sierra Nevada also. This is a nice peaceful scene. I agree that a polarizer may have helped especially with those nice underwater rocks in the foreground. The whole image feels just a tad yellow to me. My Mac monitor is pretty good on color because I photograph people's paintings all the time and it has to be correct.
Thanks for sharing yet another image of a special place. I guess that in August you were after mosquito season. I remember swarms of them in Inuvik.

It's a very nice scene. Pitbogs are always some kind of mysterious places. I like the colour of vegetation, cropping the sky out and the Eriophorum flowers in the foreground.

Simple but effective. The creek gives a nice movement to the picture and the puffy flowers and rock adds to the composition.

I like those tones of colors, composition and POV. There is a great mood in this picture. I like those details and these little white flowers a lot. The WS is interesting but I think that I prefer your darker version. Thanks,
