[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Let me indulge you with yet another Tombstone Territorial Park shot if I may. This is another one of those overlooked compositions, as I found out yesterday that there were two shots of Divide Lake that were meant ot be used as a pano composition.
Looking at the EXIF data I'm slapping my head again wondering why I didn't go with a smaller aperture, so everything isn't as sharp as I'd like it to be. Not enlargement quality, but still a fun comp to play around with.
NOTE:
I added the uncropped version with the full reflection in WS.

Hi Tim,

It's good composition and the low angle gives a nice perspective. It's a shame you didn't get the whole of the reflection. Anyway, the view is breathtaking.

Cheers,
Christian

Beautiful scenery, nice reflection, colour. Absolute breathtaking, well capture.

Hi Tim,
Well I really like this composition. Great low POV and the reflection are colourful. This to me almost looks like a painting.
Cheers,
Debbie

Hello Tim,
Beautiful composition the mountains almost look like an exposed jaw bone of a wolf. Great colors and mood captured here too, thanks Tim.

Hello Tim.
Beautiful wild and scenic countryside in the Yukon Territory. I have always wanted to travel through these incredible wild places of the north, maybe before I'm 60 I'll make it there.
Good shot, you are correct, smaller aperature... Do you own a tripod?
Steve

You may!! I am fascinated with this area and have enjoyed all your shots of it whether they technically perfect or not. The subject and compositions are just staggering. The next time you are there (ha ha) ...actually knowing you, you may be there again...any way I'd like to see a bit more in the foreground reflection. It is a wonderful shot. How far from the road does one have to hike to get a vista like this?

Amazing colors! The composition is interesting and pleasing. Great photo! And NICE CAMERA!! ha ha

Hi, Tim. I have this feeling that I've been there before. Where exactly is this?

By the way, sharpness is fine on my moniter. Beyond f8, you might have run into diffraction, limiting sharpness throughout the frame. I try to make a habit of keeping f stop below f11-16, focusing at hyperfocal distance. This seems to be pretty close to that. Contrasting colors also help with the percetion of sharpness. Great foreground, fine balance.

Tim,
I still remember the other picture you took of this place. Again, this is just stunning! This one looks surrealistic too. Those colors, exposure, reflection are superb. I wish I could do such great landscape’s picture like this one. This is breathtaking. Thanks,
Claudine

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your comments on my photo " Vermont Wildflowers (18) " :o)

Hi Tim,
You did present us with some amazingly beautiful photos from this beautiful area. I must admit that I envy you for the photos you have showed us. I do like the drama you have captured and created in this photo, it fits the name Tombstone perfectly. But, I am not so sure of some of the adjustments made give the photo a good natural look. The photo seems to have a bit too much yellow. But, I do look the overall mood and the spectacular view.
TFS,
Niek

Very nice detail! Tombstone truly is a very surreal landscape. I miss the Yukon.
