Moraine Lake is a glacially fed lake in Banff National Park, 14 kilometers outside the Village of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 6183 feet (1884 m). The lake has a surface area of 0.5 kmē.

The blue-green color is due to glacial rock flour. The lake, being glacially fed, does not reach its crest until mid to late June. However, when it is full, it is a beautiful shade of blue. The lake gets its color from the refraction of light off the rock flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis.

So, the color of the water is really like that no extra saturation.

Helloo Way,
As serene as scenic as it could get, now this is a cpature i would like to look at on my all, imparting a great sense of calm and air of peace.Superb the way you have those layers of mountains captures to the side, i love the dominant blue on the palette, the placid lake adds a very austere mood.
Just supreme...and thank you for sharing this...

hi Way,
I like very much this landscape over the lake to the mountains, great composition and great colours, really a beautiful picture
kind regards

Hi Way,
I've missed this stunning looking photo, so I am glad I did find it. The view is really breathtaking. I love the superb clarity and the colors a lot. Are the brown spots in the lake shadows, or did a rock slide cause the different color of the glacier lake? Both composition and exposure are superb.
TFS,
Niek

Love the way the snow follows the curve in the water.

As you can see - your gallery looks really nice for me :>
Another landscape picture and another fantastic presentation. Too Blue is not too blue as for me ;) it is really unique place, it looks very quiet and peacefull with lack of people and full of wild nature :>
All the best from Lodz,
Radomir

Hello Way,
This is an amazing place! Great POV, DOF, and composition.
Well done and TFS
All the best,
Selen

I climbed the mountain on the left side of the lake, Fairview Mountain. There is always snow blowing from the glaciers that feed the lake, even in mid-July we had impromptu snow-ball fights at the top.
in the forest on the right-hand side, are hiking trails and cabins that serve lunches.
Great tourist destination.
