[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Todays posting is a Mule Deer doe and her new fawn with the addition of a Brown-headed Cowbird. The doe really didn't mind the Cowbird as they eat the bugs that maybe on her.

Congratulation for this beauty!

Hi Rick,

Great picture of a lovely moment. I love how it is trying to get the bird of it and the fawn seems to be under her, a bit confused as to what is happening :).
Great moment and TFS

Hello Rick,
This is a superb photo. The meeting of the Mule Deer with the cowbird is very original. No attention to the fawn anymore, but only for the bird. Great scene, perfect timing. And that all in beautiful colours and excellent sharpness.
Regards,
Peter

Hi Rick
excellent timing and great sharpness and what a scene!
the yellow flowers give an excellent bg, but the fence is a bit f a foreign body in this otherwise perfect compo (maybe photoshop could blur it away?)

Hi Rick,
A great moment captured... of this contortionist of a deer.
What a precious scene, with the fawn underfoot.
The cowbird seems to be totally oblivious to the situation.
A very comical composition.
TFS. : )

Hi Rick,

This is priceless. I have seen animals with birds on their backs but they were always ignoring the visitor. This deer seems to be greeting him. The fawn is adorable and probably has no idea why mama is so busy. The doe is lovely with beautiful colors and details. I love her tail!

Jane

Hi Rick,
I was about to ignore your thumbnail and go to next page but your title has drawn my attention. The way she looks at the bird is lovely. Further captured with crisp clear details and perfect light
