[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is taken at Writing On Stone Provincial Park. It is located just north of the US Canada (Montana Alberta) border east of Milk River Alberta. The park is named for some petroglyphs, but known for its sandstone formations, especially the "hoodoos" that dot the landscape.

I've tried to include all the significant geological stuff -- sandstone, river -- as well as the sky. These are the forces that have shaped the landscape.

Minimal PP -- just a contrast and color adjustment.

Hello,
Great shot. It really look like a surrealistic paint : this is specially due to the water appearance.
Composition is veryy nice. The DOF is particularly pointed out by first rocs from forground, right side, then by the cliff on left part of water and finalyy by the water it self until the horizon.
I really appreciate this shot.
Regards
JMarc
