|This is a funnel-shaped spider web located in a field in Beaudry Provincial Park, near Headingley, Manitoba. The field was cut short, perhaps 4-6 inches of stubbled alfalfa (?) and there were countless webs such as this. There were spiders in some of them, fairly large spiders, who were not willing to pose at the doorway of their web long enough for me to get the shot. So I settled for this picture. Let me know what you think. Any thoughts welcome, even constructive criticism.|
