Great point of view and super clarity. Lovely colours.... I like the way you showed just the reflection of the feet ....with the 'questioning' expression on the duck's face it really tells a story.
Just a pity about the green grass blade in the front which catches my eye immediatly.... but nature does not always play along ..... still, nice capture.

Excellent picture of this colourful duck and beautiful surroundings. I like its bright colours, perfect details of the bird and trunk, so impressive sunlight and wonderful composition. Excellent job and TFS.
Welcome back. I know what it's like as I recently got back to posting and critiques also.
Very nice capture of this wood duck. If I looked like him I'd take a few looks also!
Fine color and deatil.
PS: Seeing your discussion with Kessi I went ahead with a WS to remove the "distracting" grass. More for a teaching excperience for those who have no experience with cloning and what it can do.

I have to repeat what I say every time...one of the things I love about your work is the cleanness of it...the focus is always "spot on" - the colors are always wonderfully vivid - there is no blur - the edges are sharp..heck the whole piece is sharp. Excellent shot!!
And wonderfully whimsical!

This looks like one of those Aesop's fables ...the beautiful duck who admires his own reflection until the fox sneaks up from behind. It's a work in progress.Lovely lighting and wonderful vivid natural colours. The clarity and focus is spot on.Very well composed in the frame.TFS
