[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Back to in flight shots for a bit.
Really, the weather here has been horrendous to try and get some new material.
Some say rain can make for nice photos, but I don't like pointing the lens in the air when teeming down rain.
* The Canada Goose was depicted on the 1986 series Canadian $100 note.
* The 1996 movie Fly Away Home was about a young girl who finds and raises a brood of orphaned Canada Goslings and attempts to induce them to migrate after the birds reach adulthood.
* A Canada Goose was used as the logo for the tail section of Canadian Airlines before the airline merged with Air Canada.
* An episode of Dirty Jobs had host Mike Rowe checking a gaggle of Canada Geese for Avian Flu.

Wow great. TFS. Mustafa

Love the motion here - great how the wings are outstretch, the graceful curve forward, the power of flight just held back.
Great shot!!!

hello Doug

excellent flight photo, i like the framing and background,
the blur on the wings show the speed and motion, TFS

great position, but somehow you missed the tip of its fin and also wording distracting the subject.
Best regards,

Hello Doug

Ok I can't figure out if this is goose ballet(swan lake perhaps) or if it's brakes are slightly defective. The pose is wonderful.Well focused with excellent detail. The OOF BG has a lovely bokeh.TFS

Nicely exposed shot with good sharpness. A bit tight in the frame for me personally, but i guess that is a subjective thing? The bg is awesome.

Hi Doug.
Subject of your shot is extraordinary. Frozen scene is amazing as well as the framing and composition. I am impressed with the expressiveness of the image, outstanding timing and nice colours. DOF is shallow a bit but this is not a point at all. Bravo and TFS.
