[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken about 5 minutes past Ling Lake by a lovely set of small meltwater pools. These un-named mountians above form the headwaters of Foley Creek. We did a quick hike up there to the ridge on our full day at Ling.
This shot was a bit on the difficult side as there is quite a dynamic range of tones ranging from sunlit snow to darker shadows.
Grad filters really help here but a fair bit of post processing still needed to be done to get the overall exposure somewhat even. This is a three shot pano compilation.
I often find myself at the 14mm (28mm in 35mm terms) end of my lens. Always tough trying to fit everything in it seems.

Wow..lots of snow left up there B'Goat!. Looks to be a fine spot, at least as your eye and lens sees it. I wonder at what mammals might be lurking close by....perhaps a cougar or some such. Your pic gives a nice feeling. Perhaps it is just nostalgia...but thanks anyway...

Bob

Another WOW shot - gorgeous. There's a lot of reflection and repeated patterns going on adding to the artistic aspect. :)
