Can't wait for Summer!

|When I'm out exploring I like to look for the interesting little things as well. I found this little guy on our way up to the ridge above Ling Lake. Not sure what kind of mushroom it is, but it's a pretty impatient one that's for sure!|

33 members viewed but no point! To me its a good picture of almighty nature. This is the cycle of the life and you documented it.
I love this!!!! I love what it symbolizes - it's about having the (as we called in the Army) INTESTINAL FORTITUDE to push forward despite all obstacles - to GROW in spite of the ice and snow. Beautiful concept!!!!!
Ditto with Angelina on this one.
Amazing that it has its own space around it and the snow has not covered it over and squashed it.
Interesting capture, hard to believe that a fungi generated enough heat to burn through what looks like a couple of centimetres.
Well composed and definately worth posting.
Very nice thought and composition Tim. Reminds me of the movie, "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn"...this lone mushroom overcoming the frozen landscape. Sharp, nice thought to accompany.
I've seen flowers poking their heads through the snow, but never a mushroom. Lovely photo showing this little guy in such a hurry. Nicely captured, good light and sharpness, well done.
