There's this little creek just off the highway that I know...Well anyway this is a creek that I keep returning to from time to time, and I've taken some shots from this vantage point before, but I'm never really quite sure what to do with that FG tree.
This time I tried a crop so that the tree forms a border of sorts on the right so that the creek doesn't continue onward out of the composition. Seems to work.

Hi Tim,
your photo presented as it is,is wonderful.I like the details, the moss and ferns and that tree you have mentioned in the FG,all have a mellow green hue that I find to be calming.Your blurring of the waterfall makes for a nice bit of action in this shot, this is an inviting spot you visit and thank you for letting us all have a visit as well.
